About Me

This year I have begun to share blog-style posts on Facebook as "notes."  These cover my musings about literature and teaching strategies.

Extended version of my vita. (Due to online format, this excludes my contact information and references.)

A blog written to share my summer 2013 travels in England and Scotland with family and friends. Over the course of four-weeks, I did research at Cambridge University Library, Derbyshire Records Office in Matlock, and the British Library in London. Interspersed with the research, I presented at the International Congress at Leeds and at The Early Book Society Conference in St. Andrews. This was the year that archaeologists found Richard III in a car park, (and I received travel funds from the Richard III Society for my trip), so in addition to researching the Findern Manuscript and the Derbyshire gentry, I and my traveling companions took an amateur interest in all things Richard.
